UPCOMING EVENT

UKWA Conference 2025

This year, the event will be focused on the need for the warehouse sector to address critical challenges, including sustainability, resource efficiency and workforce development.

Through the themes of AI and innovation, people and operational excellence, the event will explore what warehousing for a better future truly means. Discover emerging trends that will impact not just how warehouses operate, but the way they adapt to a rapidly evolving industry. Be part of an informative day filled with learning, networking, and growth.

WHAT’S NEW – MANAGED SERVICES

With this enhancement, Azure NetApp Files now allows the use of the same volume mount path for two or more volumes in the same region if they are each in a different availability zone. This is great for highly available architectures using cross-zone replication that would benefit from using the same mount path for both the source and target volumes. Having a common mount path for the source and target volumes eases automation and reduces manual effort during the failover of disaster recovery events which could lead to reduced recovery time objectives and improved application and data availability. This enhancement can also be used with regular volumes not participating in cross-zone replication.

FINANCE & SUPPLY CHAIN

What’s New or Changed in Dynamics 365 Finance

The Human Resources app for leave and absence is integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources. It helps organisations ensure that their employees can seamlessly request, edit, and cancel time off and leave of absence requests. Employees can view leave balances, upcoming leaves, and leave history in one app. Managers can also use the app to view requests and approve or reject them.

The Human Resources app for leave and absence can be used in Microsoft Teams or in a web browser. It can be used on both mobile devices and desktop devices.

Administrators of an organisation must install the Human Resources app and share it with Microsoft Teams before organisation users can use it.

Until next time!

Our team is always ready to help if you have any queries.
