What is the recruitment process at Mercurius IT?

Below are the stages of the recruitment process that we follow at Mercurius IT-

a) CV Screening- Email your CV to [email protected]. The recruitment team will then screen your CV and arrange a short call to understand your expectations.

b) Technical Interview- If you are shortlisted after the screening call, a technical interview will be arranged with our team so that we get to know your skills, experience, and attitude. The technical interview will be a video interview conducted on Microsoft Teams platform.

c) HR Interview- The final stage will be an HR interview where we will focus on your career aspirations, motivation, and attitude. You will get an opportunity to clarify your queries at this stage. The HR interview will also be a video interview conducted on Microsoft Teams Platform.

d) Job Offer- If you are selected after the HR round, shortly afterwards you will find an offer letter from Mercurius IT in your mailbox.

We try to expedite the recruitment process and you can expect an email about the outcome of your application in under two weeks!

How did the company manage the COVID situation, and did it affect employment?

The safety of our employees, clients, and partners was of utmost importance to us during the COVID- 19 pandemic. Therefore, we initiated work from home, suspended business travel, and recruitment was moved online.

Not a single employee was laid off during the pandemic. Today we continue to work on more and more projects and are looking for new professionals to join our growing team. Mercurius IT is proud of being steadfast and diligent in providing excellent client service during the pandemic.

I didn’t get through the recruitment process the first time; can I try again if I see a suitable open position?

Yes, you can reapply for a job role after 6 months.

How does Onboarding work at Mercurius IT?
Once you accept the job offer and the contract, we will make arrangements to deliver the configured company laptop close to your joining date. On the joining day, the HR and IT team will help you with the login credentials. A welcome email will be sent to introduce you to the Mercurius family.

We also arrange an onboarding session for the new members on the first day where we discuss the company policies, and you get an opportunity to clarify your queries.

After the onboarding session, our senior HR manager introduces you to your line manager and team head. A welcome kit is also emailed to you which consists of all the necessary documents. A buddy will also be assigned to you on day 1.

All in All, Day 1 is about getting to know you and you getting to know the company.

Do you encourage employees to complete certifications to expand their knowledge and skill set?
We encourage our employees to take up relevant certifications and provide the necessary support to attain it as a part of our commitment towards continued professional development. Apart from that, we also encourage our employees to read our monthly newsletter to keep up with the recent developments and attend webinars that we organise.
What are the working hours?
We follow UK working hours – 8:30 am to 5pm GMT.

  • During Summer (March end to October end), our office timings are 1 pm to 9:30 pm IST with 30 minutes break.
  • During Winter (October end to March end), our office timings are 2 pm to 10:30 pm IST with 30 mins break.
