Power Platform: What’s New in 2025 Release Wave 2
The latest release wave for Power Platform introduces features that make building and managing apps more powerful than ever. Enhanced Component Properties are now generally available, enabling greater modularity and reuse across applications. User-defined functions and updated data type handling are now in preview, providing makers with more flexibility. Meanwhile, Copilot Studio gets a major boost with advanced natural language configuration, Fabric data agent integration, new analytics, and stronger admin controls, all designed to make AI-driven automation smarter and more secure.
Azure: New 128 & 192 vCPU VM Sizes
Microsoft Azure has introduced Esv6 and Edsv6 VM sizes, which offer up to 192 vCPUs and 1832 GiB of RAM. Designed for enterprise-scale applications, these VMs power workloads such as in-memory analytics, large relational databases, and cache processing. With Intel® Total Memory Encryption, NVMe-enabled storage, and Azure Boost delivering up to 400K IOPS and 200 Gbps bandwidth, they combine performance and security at scale.
