1. No Integration Between Magento Web Portal and Business Central

Trendco relied on a Magento-based online ordering platform. Since this platform was not integrated with Business Central, the team had to manually transfer order data from the website into the ERP system. 2. Manual Backorder Management

When wigs or related products were out of stock, outstanding quantities had to be tracked manually. 1. Full Magento and Business Central Integration

The solution ensures that sales orders, inventory updates, customer data, and status information flow seamlessly between the web portal and Business Central. 2. Automated Backorder Processing

Mercurius IT designed an automated workflow for handling backorders within Business Central. When a web order is created and the requested item is out of stock, the system automatically moves the outstanding quantities to a designated backorder window. Once stock arrives, the system automatically creates a new sales order for fulfilment. This removes manual effort and ensures consistent, timely processing.
