“Tenerife” is the code name for the next release of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, launching 1st December 2017. The new version has been seen in preview at the Directions Partner Conference and includes some pretty exciting features for current NAV customers.

World-class cloud services

In the new version, auto-healing will be used to achieve a 99.9% uptime. Microsoft proposes to leverage telemetry to sense problems in the product and fix bugs before users raise concerns.

Migrate customised solutions

The new release will offer an easier way to move previously customised NAV solutions, as is, to Dynamics 365. Though Extensions are still recommended, but they will no longer be a requirement.
